Frank Haley, KKIM Good News Director frank@mykkim.com
After 45 years of secular, commercial, and Christian radio, the LORD opened the doors at KKIM for Frank to join New Mexico's oldest Christian radio station. A native Texan, Frank began his radio career at age 19 while in college at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. He worked in other small radio markets of Gainesville, Nacogdoches, and Tyler, Texas. He was a Radio reporter at KLIF and KVIL in Dallas in the 1960's, then became News Director for KILT in Houston in 1968. After 4 years in that position, Frank moved to KTRH, Houston as a reporter/talk show host on a 50 KW radio station. After 10 years in Houston, the LORD moved Frank and his wife Alice to Albuquerque to KOB radio in 1977. He served as morning news anchor and News Director for 20 years. In 1998, he moved to Family Life Radio in Albuquerque where he reported the good news of the day for 8 years. Now he is part of the KKIM news/talk staff. Frank's philosophy of news has changed over the years. Instead of focusing on the "bad" news, crime and scandal, etc., he tries to find the "good news" of the day from churches, missionaries, and the work of the "body of Christ." The Haley's have 6 children and 7 grand-children. Frank came to Christ at the age of 12 in a Vacation Bible School event in Farmers Branch, Texas at a Baptist. He signs off all his newscasts with the initials CJF....which stands for Certified Jesus Follower!!

I'm John Paul---The newest addition to the great team at KKIM! You'll hear me giving weather forecasts weekdays. I've always had a great interest in weather. As they say here in New Mexico "If you don't like the weather give it an hour and it'll change!" That's the beautiful thing about living in such a
beautiful place. We're truly blessed to have such a wonderful place to live! I feel truly blessed to be involved with such a wonderful radio station like KKIM. Thank you for listening and God Bless!!!
